The Japanese name refers to the beautiful coloration of the leaves. Petite yellow catkins emerge in early to mid spring on rich red stems, followed by new growth that is green and cream with a pink overtone. Young branches start out somewhat stiff and form a willowy cascade with age. Grows 2-5' with a spread of 2-4'. Salix integra ‘Hakuro Nishiki’
